Report: 3 dead in school shooting
HELSINKI, Finland (CNN/AP) — CNN has learnt that three people have been killed in a school shooting in Finland. The headmaster of the school in Tuusula, near Helsinki, is reported to have been seriously injured in the attack, according to CNN affiliate station MTV.
The gunman is believed to be a student and to currently be holed up inside the school, the channel added.
Local media say that police have surrounded the school, although it is unclear whether the gunman has any hostages. The Associated Press says that police have confirmed the shooting but have refused to supply further information.
